The last-minute strike of christian Fassnacht saw Young Boys defeat Rangers 2-1 in their Group G assembly in the Europa League.
The visitors opened the scoring a minute before the break thanks to Alfredo Morelos’ 14th goal in only 13 starts this year, taking his overall tally for the club into some 62 strikes in just 109 matches.
But, the team of Steven Gerrard were pegged back five minutes into the second half before Fassnacht took benefit of James Tavernier’s mistake.
As a result Rangers drop following Porto’s defeat at Feyenoord to third party.
