When news reached the Washington Nationals clubhouse that they were the biggest World Series underdogs within 12 decades ago, it was greeted by a shrug of their shoulders and roll of their eyes. Idle for almost a week since crossing St. Louis in the NLCS, Washington found out its rival late Saturday evening when the Houston Astros discharged the New York Yankees in the ALCS. Houston has been installed to -240 chalk on the baseball odds to win its Fall Classic in three phases. The Nationals are operating at sportsbooks, which makes them the largest underdogs from the Series since the 2007 Colorado Rockies.
