Danish golfer Thorbjorn Olesen will remain suspended from the European Union until his court case is finished.
The 29-year-old Ryder Cup winner produced his second appearance in court on Wednesday, being drunk on an aircraft and charged with assault.
Olesen, of Chelsea, southwest London, has also been charged with assault by beating.
He had been arrested after returning on a trip from the WGC-FedEx St Jude Invitational on 29 July.
Olesen, who has been granted unconditional bail, did not enter a plea at Isleworth Crown Court at a short hearing on Wednesday.
There is A plea hearing supposed to be held on 13 December, using a trial date set for 11 May, 2020.
He has indicated he would plead not guilty when he appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on 21 August.
“Thorbjorn Olesen stays suspended from the European Tour while the situation proceeds,” that a Tour spokesperson said.
