Stacy Lewis has withdrawn in the US Solheim Cup team with a spine injury.
Lewis, 34, was named as a pick by captain Juli Inkster, but her spine flared up and she doesn’t feel able to tee it up.
Newcomer Ally McDonald will takes her place in the group.
“I understand this was a remarkably hard choice for Stacy, but she has the team’s best interests in mind,” said Inkster.
McDonald finished one place outside an place, and was already in Scotland since the first alternate of the team.
