Oleksandr Usyk will make his debut that is heavyweight on October 12 against Tyrone Spong in the Wintrust Arena at Chicago, live on Sky Sports.
A division is being moved up by the cruiserweight champion after his knockout win over Tony Bellew at November and will face Spong, an unbeaten Florida-based contender.
Spong includes 13 knockouts at 14 struggle, such as last weekend’s stoppage win over Jeyson Minda, also Usyk has voiced his respect for its 33-year-old.
“Spong is a fast and strong heavyweight who has had much success at the ring,” said Usyk. “I have to come through this evaluation to battle for the world heavyweight title. I look forward to seeing everybody there.”
An accomplished kick boxer, Spong relishes the battle of confronting among the world’s elite fighters.

“Some might believe the challenge may be too hard, but I feel in myselfand anticipate being successful on October 12.”
