With helper David Livermore also leaving The Den, neil Harris has stepped down as Millwall manager.
His final game in charge was the 1-1 draw away to Luton on Wednesday night.
Harris has been the longest functioning supervisor from the Sky Bet Championship, having taken over at Millwall.
Even the 42-year-old became the Lions all time leading goalscorer in two separate spells with the team for a participant.
He guided them to two FA Cup quarter-finals and a promotion while.
Harris also helped launch Millwall as a Championship side in recent seasons and leaves both the London club 18th in the table.
Their final league success came Wednesday.
Adam Barrett has been placed in temporary cost of the team and will direct them in Saturdays game against second-placed Leeds at The Den.
Millwall chairman John Berylson paid Harris tribute in a statement on the club site.
Firstly Id like to place on record my sincere gratitude to Neil for all his hard work, dedication, determination and inarguable success as director of this excellent football club, Berylson stated.
During his time in charge weve achieved a lot so lots of his best moments as manager will live in the memory of Millwall supporters fortunate to have seen and loved them.
Neils achievements ensure that he is listed alongside a number of the club greatest-ever managers, furthering his legendary standing in Millwall.
Together with his coaching team, Neil worked tirelessly to set a culture on and off the pitch that was befitting of the clubs history and heritage and it has undoubtedly been achieved.
Hes laid enormous foundations where the team may continue to build in the months and years ahead.
Neils name is synonymous with Millwall and hes always had the best interests of the club in mind, handling with terrific pride, honor and integrity, and he departs with the best wishes of everybody linked with The Lions.
Both Neil and David leave their heads held high, indefinitely friends of the team, and I wish them both every success in their future professions. They will always be welcome in The Den.
