NASCAR at Phoenix: Vegas odds, key stats, sleepers, fantasy drivers to watch
Adhering to a post-race altercation in Las Vegas Motor Speedway last Sunday, NASCAR announced Kyle Busch, Joey Logano and their crews will not face punishment for their actions in the aftermath of the Kobalt 400.
While the shortage of punishment may inspire Busch to retaliate, Logano says Busch and he have spoken since the incident and cooler heads have prevailed – to now. Do not expect when NASCAR is back in action Sunday at Phoenix, to become submissive. The one-mile track will offer plenty of grinding and bumping, who knows which driver may get and create contact.
It is no secret Kevin Harvick is the driver to beat on Sunday. Have a look at his career stats in the desert track. Harvick boasts a eight victories there and has won six of the last nine races in the one-mile track. In addition, he claims 13 top-five endings, and 1,484 rebounds led. It’s easy to see why he is the odds-on favourite.
