Golden Contract: Razaq Najib replaces Carlos Araujo in Friday’s featherweight quarter-finals
Razaq Najib has obtained a dramatic entrance because he replaces Mexican Carlos Araujo who pulled out due.
The Najib of sheffield steps into face when Friday’s featherweight competition begins at York Hall, Bethnal Green, Tyrone McCullagh, live on Sky Sports.
Araujo fell sick after initially being chosen by the Northern Irishman at the attraction of Tuesday, but’Lionheart’ Najib currently receives the chance to struggle for a lucrative bargain in the MTK Global event.
MTK Global Professional Development Coordinator Jamie Conlan stated:”This is clearly disappointing for Araujo and his team however, the beneficiary is currently Najib, who currently has a chance to change his life.
“We watched a lot of drama at the draw down in Repton the other day in the front of the Sky Sports cameras and today we have more in this newest twist. Najib will be ready and prepared to seize his chance.
“Of course, it’s another spin for Tyrone McCullagh as well. He will have already been imagining for Araujo the past couple of days, studying him and he has to adjust his landscapes. Who knows what’s going to take place.”
McCullagh said:”Clearly I’ve been getting ready for Araujo and today I have to rapidly reset with Najib my own late-notice opponent.
“I have said all along that it doesn’t actually matter that I fight. I’ve had that mindset from the start so from that perspective, I intend to conquer Najib the same as I intended to conquer Araujo and go on to claim the whole thing”
Leigh Wood faces Davey Oliver Joyce in the quarter-finals, together with Jazza Dickens from Carlos Ramos and Hairon Socarras takes on Ryan Walsh.
