Three players have made the shortlist for Fifa’s Golden Boy award for its best under-21 participant in Europe.
Chelsea’s Mason Mount, 20, Manchester City’s Phil Foden, 19, and Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, 19, are included in the 20-man shortlist.
The Moise Kean of Everton along with arsenal’s Matteo Guendouzi produced the list.
The winner will be announced in Turin on 16.
The award was made by paper Tuttosport in 2003 to recognise the very best young player in Europe. Candidates must be under the age of 21 and perform at the top grade of a nation.
Wayne Rooney (2004) and Raheem Sterling (2014) are previous British champions of the award.
Although other names comprise the Norway striker who plays for Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, Atletico Madrid and Portugal ahead Joao Felix and Erling Haaland, Netherlands shield Matthijs de Ligt and juventus won the award last year and will be nominated .
