After losing his first two team games defending champion Gary Anderson was pumped out of this 2019 Champions League of Darts about the day.
James Wade at the evening session conquered the Scot 10-9, with ignored a 5-1 lead against Michael Smith before on Saturday in Leicester.
Michael van Gerwen’s successes in the exact same group over Wade and Smith mean Anderson is not able to qualify.
Rob Cross is out after losing to Daryl Gurney along with Gerwyn Price.
But world number seven Peter Wright is to Sunday’s semi-finals after wins from debutant and Gurney Cost.
The winner of Sunday’s final group match between the Gurney and Welshman Price of Northern Ireland will join Van and Wright Gerwen at the past four.
In Group A, both Wade and Smith will meet to determine who goes into the semi-finals.
