Seven of the England squad who reached the semi-finals of their World Cup are in the running to be appointed in the Fifa Fifpro Women’s World11.
They are led by Lyon defender Lucy Bronze.
World champions USA have 14 such as striker Alex Morgan and Australians Megan Rapinoe.
The group will be revealed on 23.
More than 3,500 elite players around the globe were asked to choose their very best group by Fifpro, the players’ union, dependent on performances between July 2018 and July 2019.
The last team will be composed of a goalkeeper, four defenders, three players and three forwards.
Bronze, who had been part of the Fifpro team selected in 2017, is joined in the list from England captain Steph Houghton, Ellen White, joint top-scorer in the World Cup in France, Millie Bright, Alex Greenwood, Keira Walsh and Nikita Parris.
Bronze is also on the watch for the primary award with Rapinoe and Morgan.
Women’s Champions League champions Lyon have 14 players nominated, such as striker Ada Hegerberg, who will be your 2019 BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year and watched a hat-trick at the closing.
