Anik Shines in SuperContest Despite Rough Week Overall for Team Odds Shark
Following an great week at the Ultimate Football Challenge at the Golden Nugget, Team Odds Shark struggled on college and pro picks total to an 11-17 record and came down to ground. This after Harry Gagnon, Cousin Sal and brothers Darren and Brian Szokoli combined to proceed 23-5 the week. However, UFC commentator Jon Anik turned with a 4-1 mark in his very best performance of the season in the NFL-only SuperContest to move to 10-5 overall in the world football.
Both Szokoli brothers and sal went while Gagnon was 2-5 to fall from a tie for first place overall. Northwestern turned into an especially disappointing result, together with three of them picking the Wildcats as 9.5-point home underdogs in a 31-10 loss to the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday. Michigan also played badly for Gagnon and Brian Szokoli, as the Wolverines were routed 35-14 from the Wisconsin Badgers as 3.5-point street underdogs. Gagnon was 1-4 in the NFL.
The NFL hasn’t been the strong suit of the team up to now this season between the Ultimate Football Challenge, SuperContest along with Circa Sports Million, however, Anik was definitely a bright place with a large Week 3. He picked winners on the Detroit Lions (+6), Indianapolis Colts (-1.5), New York Giants (+6.5) and Los Angeles Rams (-3). His sole loser was that the Seattle Seahawks (-4) at a 33-28 home loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Joe Fortenbaugh moved to move over the .500 markers at 8-7. Fortenbaugh had winners on the Baltimore Ravens (+6.5), Houston Texans (+3.5), Indianapolis Colts (-1.5) and Los Angeles Rams (-3). His lone loser was around the Arizona Cardinals (-2).
Yet another positive has been the duo of Clay Travis and Odds Shark Jon Campbell in the William Hill College Select ’em contest. Campbell and Travis every went 4-3 in Week 3 to improve their year documents to 13-8 and 12-9. However, the 1 choice they shared was that the UCF Golden??Knights (-11.5), that had been upset 35-34 by the Pittsburgh Panthers to finish their 27-game regular-season winning series.
