Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan became the youngest captain as his side beat Bangladesh to record their second win in their third Test 27, to win Test.
Rashid, 20, took 11 wickets and scored a half century that was first-innings since the visitors won by 224 runs in Chittagong.
Afghanistan dropped to India and were granted status before beating Ireland in their first two games.
They’re the country after Australia managed the feat back to achieve 2 Test wins.
After rain postponed play at the beginning of the last afternoon on Monday, eventually restarting at 16:40 local time, Zahir Khan eliminated Shakib Al Hasan using the first ball while Rashid claimed the final wicket to seal a memorable win for Afghanistan.
Rahmat Shah hit on a 102 since the people made an initial 342 while Asghar Afghan contributed Rashid 51 and 92 on his captaincy debut.
Rashid, called captain for all three formats decimated the Bangladesh centre order with 5-55 along with Mohammad Nabi – producing his look – took 3-56 as Bangladesh fought to some full of 205.
Ibrahim Zadran made 87 runs since the hosts’ Shakib took promising early wickets, but the rain delay couldn’t prevent Bangladesh falling to defeat as Soumya Sarkar was captured by Zadran for Rashid’s sixth wicket of the innings with 3.2 overs remaining.
